Inspector

Category: Utilities

Released: July 31th, 2009

Version 1.0 | 0,1 MB | 1,59 EUR

The Inspector shows you quickly and clearly the most important system parameters at a glance. It helps you to check the memory occasionally. If an application crashes regulary, lack of free memory can be the reason – reboot your device if you have less than 10%. Before larger downloads the Inspector tells you immediately how much disk space is still available – and also how much battery capacity you have.

MEMORY:

10 to 3 or 2 to 10? Memory is displayed both with (recommended) SI decimal prefixes „MB“ / „GB“ as well as with (the more common) IEC binary prefixes „MiB“ / „GiB“. 1 MB comprises 1,000 x 1,000 bytes (base 10), 1 MiB exactly 1,024 x 1,024 bytes (base 2). 1 GB comprises 1,000 MB accordingly, 1 GiB 1,024 MiB. Regardless which option you prefer (for hard drives the difference is almost 10%) – the Inspector shows both.
